Kings in the North was founded in December 2012. From the top of Section 127, a small group looked down and realized that the players needed a boost. It started with a shout and cheer—and then another. A couple more people joined in. One by one, fans stood up and started clapping. After the game, a handful of fans in the section sat around a pub table, eager to keep the support in the north end going. Today, that support is still growing and those supporters are the Kings in the North. In 2014, the group relocated to Section 116, joining the other supporters groups in the south end of the stadium to form one united voice.
